Throw 'em in and lose the key!

Rage-quitting...

The most horrendous form of griefing in online games at the moment. In case you are unaware of the term, it basically means that when one is being beaten in an online match with others, you yank the plug in someway and drop out of the match, to avoid gaining the negative effects of losing the match marked on your account. This, of course, means the person that was soundly kicking the snot out of you suddenly loses all of the positive effects of their hardwork.

Game developers have been trying to find ways to deal with this problem since online play became a big thing, and I think we might have found the most poetic solution yet. And where, dear reader, do you think this solution lies... An oft-mentioned favourite in the Final Boss Fight Tower, Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds.

So, what happens if you rage-quit and drop out of the match in MvC3: FTW... the game remembers. It is logged somewhere, and if you keep offending, it starts pairing with other people tagged for rage quitting... Pushing them all into the corner and letting them see what it feels like...

A new challenger appears!

I know I have been a little lax with the blogging, but as other members of the FBF have pointed out, I am a tech-ninja, and posting a lot really doesn't fit with the ninja persona. That and I am not that into writing... editing is fine...

Anyway, I was looking around certain news sites and saw an article about the upcoming Marvel vs. Capcom 3, which I am looking forward to... even though I know my brother will beat the living tar out of me in it. I am aware that Zo posted about one of the new Capcom characters earlier. Here is the Marvel character announced at the same time, Phoenix.
